“Selfie expert – Oppo F3 Plus”
The Oppo F3 Plus claims to be the “Selfie expert” and it is indeed one. The phone offers two cameras at the front with one dedicated wide angle camera for group selfies or “groupfies”. Having two cameras at the front allows the phone to shoot ‘bokeh’ selfies as well. The image quality is quite good and it captures most details. The colour saturation is decent and reasonably consistent across varied light situations. Image quality of the 8MP groupfie camera is as expected lower than the 16MP sensor, but it is still good.
The smartphone’s photography strengths extend to the rear camera as well. The 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor at the back has the capability to shoot some really nice images in almost all lighting conditions. Images taken by the rear camera look sharp, with well-balanced colours and some visible noise.
The design is nothing new and the F3 Plus looks way too similar to most devices out there in the same price category. The build quality is good as well and so is the large 6-inch 1080p display.
Performance is handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, which does a decent job for the price, but still lacks the punch of the Snapdragon 821 powered Oneplus 3T. That being said, the 4000mAh battery provides enough juice to provide you 24 hours of usage.
